1998
Award of the Chairman of the Bratislava District Office for his outstanding performance in 1997.
Diploma of the Major of Bratislava, the capital city of the Slovak Republic, for his successful representation of his college and city.
Finalist of the international competition Eurovision Grand Prix in Vienna (Stahel was selected and sent by Slovak television as the only representant of Slovakia. The concert of the laureates with the Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna under the conductor Dennis Russell Davies was broadcasted live or recorded by 22 television companies and was seen by approximately 10 million viewers around the world.)
He was chosen by the jury of the Bratislava Conservatory tutors as the only representant of the Slovak Republic for the Frankfurt Young Europeans Forum about the EuropeÇs development and unification Europe x - a new generation takes off (Germany).
